ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
Szerzők nyelésképtelen, előrehaladott fej-nyaki tumoros betegeken alkalmazták a nasogastricus szonda alternatívájaként a percutan endoscopos gastros- tornát (PEG). Eredményeik alapján megállapítható, hogy a rossz általános állapotú betegek számára a PEG behelyezése aránytalanul nagy műtéti megterhelést jelent, a szövődmények magas aránya miatt a betegek életminőségét nem javítja, sok esetben rontja is. Szerzők véleménye szerint- bár elismerik a fej-nyaki műtét során behelyezett PEG hasznosságát a postoperativ szakban- előrehaladott fej-nyaki tumoros betegeken a PEG-gel szemben a nasogastricus szonda alkalmazását részesítik előnyben.
SUMMARY
The authors applied Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) as an alternative to the nasogastric tube for nutrition of patients with advanced head and neck cancer, who are unable to swallow. In the authors opinion, PEG means high operative risk to those patients in a poor general condition and does not improve the life quality because of frequent complications. The agree that using Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy in the postoperative period of a head and neck operation is justified but in patients with advanced head and neck tumours they prefer to use the traditional nasogastric tube for the patients nutrition.
