ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A szerzők egy ma már ritkán előforduló lateralis sinus sigmoideus thrombosisos esetet ismertetnek. Felhívják a figyelmet a nem specifikus tünetekre. Hangsúlyozzák a fülsebész aktuális felelősségét a modern diagnosztikus módszerek birtokában is. Esetük kapcsán tárgyalják a CT jelentőségét a sinus thrombosis praeoperatív diagnosztikájában. Esetüket közlésre érdemesnek tartják, mert bár egyes szerzők szerint a CT minden esetben megbízható praeoperatív diagnózist ad, betegük esetében ez nem igazolódott.

SUMMARY
Authors deal with a nowadays rarely occurring lateral sinus thrombosis case and, draw the attention to the not-specific symptoms. The actual responsibility of the ear-surgeon is emphasized, even in possession of modern diagnostical procedures too. According to their own case, they discuss the importance of CT in the preoperative diagnostical clear up of sinus thrombosis. The authors consider their case worthy of publication, notwithstanding of some other author’s opinion, who declare, that CT gives always reliable preoperative diagnosis in every instance, although it did not prove in their own case.
