ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
Szerző röviden áttekinti a parotiskömyéki nyirokrendszert és a leggyakoribb metas- tatikus parotis daganatokat. Ismerteti 8 betegük esetét, 1 betegük malignus melano- mája primeren a parotisban keletkezett, 7 áttéti melanomáből 2 alkalommal pigmentszemcsét kimutatni nem sikerült. Cytologiai vizsgálattal 6 esetből 5 alkalommal pontos praeoperatív diagnózissal rendelkeztek. A kedvezőtlen prognosis miatt mérle- gelendőnek tartja a műtéti beavatkozást.
Malignant melanoma in the parotid gland.
SUMMARY
The author makes a short survey of the lymphatic system in the region of parotid gland and, the most frequent metastatised tumours into the gland. There has been dealt with 8 cases, amongst 1 patient had a primary malignant parotidal melanoma, 7 patients got metastases of other primary melanomas, in 2 cases there was not possible to demonstrate pigmental granules. The author and his collaborates have been in possession of punctual preoperative diagnosis in 5 of 6 cases with the cytological examination. Because of the unfavourable prognosis, the operative intervention is to be considered.
