ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A szerzők ismertetik az elmúlt 20 év alatt osztályukon krónikus otitis miatt ápolt betegek adatait. Vizsgálják: változott-e a betegek száma, életkor szerinti műtétek, szövődmények száma.
összehasonlítják a fül-orr-gégegyógyászatban 1980-ban közölt első dekád adatait a második időperiódussal.
Megállapítják, hogy pozitív változás észlelhető, amennyiben csökkent a reoperátiok, szövődmények száma. Nőtt a tyimpanoplastilkák és így az „uszodaképes” fülek száma. De felhívják a figyelmet a 3 év alatti fülműtétek számának növekedésére is.
Fontosnak tartják a szakmai fejlődés mellett a fülsebészet modern technikai színvonalának biztosítását is.
Patients treated because of chronic otitis media in view of 20 years.
SUMMARY
Data of patients treated because of chronic otitis in the department of the authors during the past 20 years are reported. Examinations were aimed to decide whether the number of the patients, operations according to age and number of complications have changed. Data of the first decade published in the periodical „Fül-Orr-Gégegyógyá- szat” in 1980 were compared with the second time period. The changes were found to be positive, considering that the number of reoperations and complications decreased. The number of myringoplasties thus that of the ears „fit for swimming-pool” grew. However the attention is drawn to the increasing number of operations performed under the age of 3 years. Besides the professional development the availability of the modern technical standards of otological surgery is considered important too.
