ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A szerzők ismertetik az első 8 extracochlearis implantációval szerzett tapasztalatokat. A SOTE Fül-orr-gégeklinikáján a Hortmann cég által gyártott extracochlearis implantátumot ültették be, egy prelingualis, és 7 postlingualis süket felnőttbe. Az eddigi tapasztalatok alapján a módszer alkalmas a süketek rehabilitációjára. A megfelelően kiválasztott betegeken jó eredményt lehet elérni extracochlearis implantátummal.
Clinical experiences with 8 cases of extracochlear channel implant.
SUMMARY
The authors describe the experiences gained with the first 8 extracochlear implantations performed at the Department of Otq-Rhino-Laryngology of the Semmelweis University of Medicine. The extracochlear implant a product of the Firm Hortmann was implanted in 1 prelingual and 7 postlingual adult deaf persons. On the basis of the experiences obtained os far the method is suitable for the rehabilitation of deaf persons. Favourable results can be obtained with the extracochlear implant with appropriately selected patients.
