ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A szerzők osztályán 1976—82 között 3982 gyermek feküdt, akik között 814 volt a fülbeteg. 726 fülműtétet végeztek, ebből 71 (10,25%) volt reoperáció. Ezek megoszlása: 3 saját eset, a többi más intézetben végzett első műtét után fél éven belül. A szerzők mind a saját, mind a külföldi tapasztalatok alapján arra a következtetésre jutottak, hogy ha a felnőtt fülműtétek során rutinszerűen alkalmazzák az operációs mikroszkópot és a mikrotechnikát, akkor csecsemő- és gyermekkorban — különösen a miniatűr viszonyok miatt is — létjogosultsága van ugyanennek a módszernek. Szívódrenázs alkalmazásával per primam gyógyult sebeket, és száraz füleket lehet néhány nap alatt elérni. A fúró és szívó megfelelő kautélák mellett alkalmazva nem okoz halláskárosodást.
Microtechnics in the operation of the ears of infants and children.
SUMMARY
In the ward of the authors 3982 children were hospitalized in the years between 1976 and 1982, out of whom 811 suffered form some disease of the ear. Of the 726 operations of the ear performed during this period 71 (10.25%) were re-operations, among which there werr the authors own cases, the others were first operated in some other institution not more than six months earlier. This experience as well as published data suggest that if in the operation of the ears of adults the microscope and microtechnics are routine tools, the use of the same methods is even more justified in the case of infants and children because of the miniature conditions. By applying suction drain, directly healing wounds and dry ears can be achieved in a few days. If proper caution is exercized, the drill and the drain will cause no damage to hearing.
