Ezen túl alkalmas a módszer a gége egyéb részein levő benignus elváltozások megoldására - a papilloma, haemangioma, cysta kivételével - és a malignus tumorok topikus diagnosztikájára is.

SUMMARY

Anaesthesie without intubation in laryngomicroscopic interventions. Part I. Laryngological bearings..

In the microsurgical interventions of the larynx an anaesthetic method without intubation - used for the first time in Hungary — has been worked out by the authors. This method has been used in 69 cases. The method consists of the combination of intravenously administered 7-hydroxybutiric acid and Seduxen, as well as of the mucosal- and conductive anaesthesia. Excepted 3 cases, the anaesthesia allowed undisturbed view of the larynx, undisturbed work without time limitation and photographic documentation. The primordial domain of the mothod’s use are the glottic synechiae, as well as the microsurgical treatment of the changes in the interary space and the vocal processes. Moreover, the method is useful also for the treatment of benign changes in other parts of the larynx - excepted the papilloma, the haemangioma and the cyst - as well as for the topic diagnostics of malignant tumours.
