ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A szerzők 23 kongenitális nyaki cystás betegük adatai alapján áttekintik a kérdés diagnosztikus és terápiás problémáit. Ismételt beavatkozásokra 6 betegen került sor, részben diagnosztikai, részben műtéttechnikai hiányosságok miatt.
A terápiában a mediális nyaki cysta és a ductus thyreoglossus maradvány nyelvcsont- rezekcióval történő eltávolítása mellett foglalnak állást. A műtét során a nyelvcsont részeket 8-as öltéssel egyesítik, s a leválasztott izmokat ehhez varrják.

Difficulties in the diagnosis and the treatment of congenital cervical cysts.
On the basis of the data of 23 patients with congenital cervical cyst the diagnostic and therapeutic problems of this disease are reviewed by the authors. Because of partly diagnostical -, partly operative technical imperfections repeated interventions have been performed in 6 patients.
In the treatment, the authors advocate the removal of the medial cervical cyst and the residuum of the ductus thyreoglossus by means of the resection of the hyoid bone. During the operation the hyoid bone portions are united by means of suture of figure-of-eight-bandage, and the separated muscles are sutured to those.
