ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A szerző röviden ismerteti a latens mastoiditis diagnosztikai problémáit. Utal néhány etiológiai faktorra, foglalkozik a kórélettani jelenségekkel. A kórforma kifejlődéséért főleg a szervezet Immorális immundefektusát teszi felelőssé. Felhívja a figyelmet az idejében készített és jól értékelt fül röntgenfelvételre, amely — a gyermekgyógyásszal történő konzultálás után — inspirálta a mastoidectomia elvégzésére. Példaként egy esetet ismertet.
SUMMARY
Importance of the roentgenogram of the ear in the early diagnosis and operative indication of the latent mastoiditis in infancy.
The diagnostical problems of the latent mastoiditis are shortly discussed by the author. Some aetiological factors and the pathophysiological phenomena are pointed out. In the author’s opinion, especially the humoral immune defect of the organism is responsible for the development of the
disease.
Attention is called to the roentgenogram of the ear — made in due time and assessed correctly, — this gives - after the consultation with the otologist - inspiration to the performance of the mastoidectomy. A few cases are cited.
