Ehhez társul a rekedtségre jellemző részleges rezgési aperiodicitás.

SUMMARY

Phoniatrie and clinico-pathologic characteristics of Reinke’s oedema.

The clinical and pathological characteristics of Reinke’s oedema are discussed by the authors. From phoniatric point of view early hoarseness-dependent on the grade of the alteration-is characteristic. The stroboscope reveals slight vibration of the oedematic cordal edges. This is associated with the partial vibration aperiodicity, characteristic of hoarseness.
In the development of the oedema the authors attribute decisive importance to the damage of the vascular walls of various origin and to the peculiar anatomical structure of the sound lips. Lasting oedema may be due to the disturbance of the lymph circulation of the Reinke’s space and to the mechanic insufficiency of the lymph vessels.
The examinations of mitosis and the marking index have revealed that the number of the cells multiplying by division in the epithelium elevated by the oedema decreases.
