ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A szerzők ismertetik a fej és nyak területén előforduló leggyakoribb sipolyféleségeket. A Heim Pál Gyermekkórház fül-orr-gége- és bronchológiai osztályán az elmúlt 15 év alatt 51 sipolyt operáltak. Ezen esetek és irodalmi adatok alapján ismertetik a fej és nyak sipolyainak etiológiáját, diagnosztikáját, felsorolják az elkülönítő kórisme szempontjából szóba jövő kórképeket és az osztályon alkalmazott műtéti megoldásokat. Hangsúlyozzák a korai diagnózis és a másodlagos fertőzés előtt végzett radikális műtét fontosságát.
SUMMARY
Congenital fistulae of the head and the neck.
The most frequent fistulae occurring in the area of the head and the neck are discussed by the authors. During the past 15 years, in the Otorhinolaryngological and Bronchological Ward of the Heim Pál Children’s Hospital, Budapest, 51 cases with fistula have been operated on. On the basis of these cases and the data of the literature the aetiology and the diagnostics of the fistulae of the head and the neck are discussed, the diseases coming into consideration with respect to the differential diagnosis are listed and the surgical methods used in the ward are dealt with. The importance of early diagnosis and of the radical operation performed before the secondary infection is stressed.
