ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
161 supraglottikus kiindulású gégecarcinomás betegből 135 kontrollált beteg 3 és 5 éves gyógyeredményeit ismertetik.
Az I. stádiumban 6/6 volt a 3 éves és 5/5 az 5 éves túlélés. A II. stádiumban 30/40 (75%) 3 éves és 17/24 (70%) 5 éves eredményt értek el. III. stádiumban a 3 éves gyógyulás 35/51 (68%), az 5 éves 26/39 (67%) volt, míg IV. stádiumban a 13 incurabilis beteget is beszámítva 13/38 (34%) 3 éves és 8/28 (28%) 5 éves gyógy eredményről számolnak be.
A supraglottikus '1,—T2 gégerákoknál a sebészi kezelések gyógyeredményei jobbak voltak a sugárkezeléssel elért eredményeknél. A műtéti eljárások közül a supraglottikus gégerezekcióra helyezik a hangsúlyt.
III.—IV. stádiumban csaknem kizárólag a sebészi kezelés volt eredményes.
A kevés számú betegen alkalmazott posztoperatív besugárzás az eredményeket nem javította.
Results obtained in the treatment of laryngeal cancers originating in the supraglottis
SUMMARY
Out of 161 patients with supraglottic laryngeal cancer the 3 and 5 years’ therapeutic results of 135 controlled patients are reported.
In the I. stage, the 3 years’ survival was 6/6 and the 5 years’ survival 5/5. In the II. stage the 3 years’ results corresponded to 30/40 (75%) and the 5 years’ results to 17/24 (70%). In the III. stage the 3 years’ recovery corresponded to 35/51 (68%), and the 5 years’ results to 26/39 (67%). In the IV. stage — also the incurable patients comprised — the 3 years’ therapeutic results corresponded to 13/38 (34%) and the 5 years’ results to 8/28 (28%).
In the patients with supraglottic Tj—T2 laryngeal cancer the results of the surgical treatment were better than those of the irradiation therapy. Among the surgical methods the supraglottic laryngeal resection is emphasized.
In the III. and IV. stage almost exclusively the surgical treatment was effective.
The postoperative irradiation — applied only in a few patients — did not improve the results.
