ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
Primer tumorok agyi metastasisának kimutatása sok esetben nehézséget jelent. Szerző elemzi a malignus daganatok agyi metastasist okozó gyakoriságát, tüneteit, felismerési problémáit. Esetében mammacarcinoma műtété után 6 hónapra j. o. facialis bénulás, majd újabb 2 hónap múlva azonos oldali seropurulens otitis és meningitis jelentkezett, mely miatt műtéti feltárást végzett. Az idegsebészeti konzílium sem tudta egyértelműen tisztázni az agy tályog, vagy agyi metastatis jelenlétét, mely utóbbi csak a letalis kimenetel után a sectio alkalmával igazolódott be.
Otitis and meningitis, associated with the cerebral metastases of a patient with cancer of mamma
SUMMARY
The cerebral metastases of the primary tumours cause often diagnostical difficulties. The frequency and the symptoms of the malignant tumours leading to cerebral metastases—, as well as the difficulties of their diagnosis are analysed. In the author’s case, 6 months after surgical intervention performed because of carcinoma of the mamma facial paralysis on the right side, and after 2 following months seropurulent otitis in the same side and meningitis developed, necessitating surgical approach.
Neither neurosurgical consultation could unequivocally clear the presence of cerebral abscess or cerebral metastasis — this latter was verified only after the patient’s death, during the post-mortem examination.
