ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
311, 1 — 68 éves korú betegnél végeztünk tonsillectomiát és adenotomiát iv. Epontol-narcosisban. A narcosis nélkülözhetővé teszi a beteg együttműködését, ugyanakkor az inhalatiós narcosis utáni kellemetlenségek elmaradnak. A műtét a betegnek nem kellemetlen, az orvosnak lehetőséget biztosít nyugodt munkához. Szakképzett anaesthesiologus a módszer elengedhetetlen feltétele, viszont az adódó egyéb teendők elvégzéséhez szakképzetlen egészségügyi személyzet is elegendő. A módszer rovására írható elháríthatatlan komplikációt nem észleltünk.
Experiences with Epontol narcosis in tonsillectomy and adenotomy
SUMMARY
In 311 patients, aged 1 — 68 years, tonsillectomy and adenotomy have been performed under intravenous Epontol narcosis by the authors. Under narcosis, the intervention can be carried out without the patient’s collaboration, and the inconveniences observed after inhalation narcosis fail to come about. The operation is well tolerated by the patient, and undisturbed work is assured to the surgeon. The collaboration of skilled anesthetist is indispensable, — on the other hand, even unskilled medical personnel may be used for the tasks of minor importance. No unavoidable complication — due to the method — has been observed by the authors.
