ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A szerző az orálisán vagy parenteralisan adott corticosteroidok fül-orr-gégészeti alkalmazását ismerteti. Tárgyalja a steroid-védelemben végzett műtéteket. Kiemel néhány szakmai betegséget (hirtelen hallásvesztés, arcidegbénu- lás, gégevizenyő, naphazolinismus, műtéti védelem, postoperativ hegesedés), melyekben a corticosteroidok jó eredménnyel adhatók.
The treatment of oto-rhino-laryngologic patients with corticosteroids
SUMMARY
The oral or parenteral administration of corticosteroids in the oto-rhino-laryngologic practice is discussed and the operations performed under steroid protection are dealt with by the author. Some diseases (sudden loss of hearing, paralysis of the facial nerve, edema of the larynx, naphazolinism, operative protection, post-operative cicatrization) are pointed out by the author, in which the corticosteroids may be given with satisfactory result.
