ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
Szerzők a n. vagus nyaki szakaszából kiinduló, sikerrel operált tyúktojásnyi neurinomáról számolnak be. Műtét előtt diagnosztikai nehézséget jelentett a beteg arcának azonos oldalán helyet foglaló — előzőleg már rádiummal kezelt — kiterjedt angioma, s annak esetleges összefüggése a nyaki tumorral. A nyaki daganat eltávolításakor azonnal jelentkező vagus izgalmi tünetek rövid idő alatt spontán megszűntek, de a hangszalagbénulás tartós maradt. SUMMARY
A case of an egg-sized neurinoma, starting from the cervical part of the nervus vagus and operated on with success is reported. Before the operation, the great angioma — sited on the same side of the patient’s face and treated previously with radium — as well as its eventual connection with the cervical tumour signified diagnostical difficulties. The excitation of the nervus vagus — appearing immediately at the removal of the tumour — ceased spontaneously within short time, but the paralysis of the vocal cord persisted. The authors point out that the tumour appearing in the neck is to be removed always surgically, with external approach from the neck, in order to control the accidental bleeding easily in this way.
