ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
Az elektronystagmogrammok gyors és pontos értékelésére a szerzők egy elektronikus integrátort használtak fel. Az integrátor a szemmozgások alkalmával keletkező elektromos változások mennyiségét számolja le. Az eredmény részben az integrátor számlálószerkezetéről, részben az elektronystagmogramm- ról leolvasható. A szerzők egészségeseken összehasonlították a thermikus nystagmus időtartamának, frekvenciájának és amplitúdójának, valamint az integrátornak az adatait. Megállapításaik szerint az integrátor adatai a nystagmus amplitúdójával állanak a legszorosabb összefüggésben (korrelációs együttható 0,96). Az integrátor hátránya az, hogy a zavaró jeleket és az ellenkező irányú szemmozgásokat is integrálja. A nystagmogramm jelei alapján ezek a hibák korrigálhatók. The use of integrator for the evaluation of the electronystagmograms.
SUMMARY
Electronic integrator has been used by the authors for the quick and reliable evaluation of the electronystagmograms. The integrator counts the quantity of the electric changes occurring during the oscillatory movements of the eyeballs. The results are read-off partly on the counter of the integrator, and partly on the electronystagmogram. The data of the duration, the frequency and the amplitude of the thermic nystagmus —, and the data of the integrator have been compared by the authors in normal individuals. It was found that the data furnished by the integrator have the closest connection with the amplitude of the nystagmus (correlation coefficient = 0,95). The disadvantage of the integrator is that also the disturbing (interfering) signs and the eye- movements of contrary direction are integrated by the integrator. On the basis of the signs obtained on the nystagmogram, these errors may be corrected. In the opinion of the authors, the greatest advantage of the integrator is — besides the accuracy — the extraordinary rapidity of the calculation.
