168 az osztályon ápolt és 273 ambuláns orrvérző betegük adatainak, ellátásának ismertetése után az orrvérzés csillapításának gyakorlati problémáit tárgyalja. Hangsúlyozza az első ellátás alaposságát, és azt, hogy az orrvérző beteg ügye nem fejeződött be a vérzés csillapításával. Részletezi a teendőket, a további vérzés elkerülésére. The nosebleed and its management.
SUMMARY
Because of their peculiar anatomical conditions the nasal vessels are greatly vulnerable, — this is the reason that the prevalent majority of the bleeding-manifestations of the organism is nosebleed.
On the basis of the treatment of 168 hospitalized — and 273 ambulant patients with nosebleed the practical problems of the arrest and calming of bleeding from the nose are discussed. The thoroughness of the first management is stressed. The treatment of patients with nosebleed is not finished with the arrest of the bleeding. The doctor’s duties in order to prevent new bleedings are described in detail. The nosebleed is often the sympton of another disaese, — in this case, also the adequate treatment of the primary disease is of utmost importance.
