ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
11 év alatt öt dobüregi glomus tumort észlelt, ezek közül 4 került műtétre, egy esetben valószínűsíthetően tüdőáttétel keletkezett. Hangsúlyozza a diagnosztikus és therapiás nehézségeket. Három beteg volt egyúttal hypertoniás és ugyancsak három betegnek volt többször rövid ideig tartó, görcs nélküli eszméletvesztése. Helyes a korán felismert tumor műtéti kiirtása, ha ez még elvégezhető. Nagyobb tumorok esetében radicalis fülműtét, subtotalis tumorkiirtás és műtét utáni besugárzás szükséges. A tumor legtöbbször igen lassan növekszik, ezért a betegeket hosszú ideig ellenőrzés alatt kell tartani.

SUMMARY
During 11 years, 5 cases of tumor of the glomus in the tympanic cavity have been observed by the author. Out of them 4 cases have been operated upon, and in 1 patient metastasis in the lungs occurred. The diagnostical and therapeutical difficulties are pointed out. 3 patients were hypertonic in the same time, and likewise 3 patients had several times short losses of consciense, without convulsions. In the case of early identification, operative extirpation of the tumor — if feasible — is recommended. In the case of more extended tumors radical operation, subtotal extirpation of the tumor and after the intervention irradiation treatment are recommended. The growth of the tumor is in general very slow, therefore continous medical supervision and follow-up of the patients is necessary.
