ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
Szerzők 5 éves leányka Wharton-vezetéki idegentestét ismertetik s ezzel kapcsolatban irodalmi áttekintést adnak a nyál vezetéki (Stenon és Wharton) idegentestekről. Foglalkoznak az idegentestek természetével S a nyálutakba jutás feltételeivel. DiagnoStikus és therapiás problémák ismertetése után felhívják a nyálvezetéki idegentestek lehetőségére a figyelmet különösen tisztázatlan, elhúzódó vagy recidiváló gyulladásos nyálmirigy-megbetegedéseknél.
Foreign bodies in the salivary duct.
SUMMARY
In a girl of 5 years, foreign body has been found in the Wharton’s duct. After the description of the case, a review of the literature dealing with the foreign bodies found in the salivary ducht (Stenon and Wharton) is given. The pecularities of the foreign bodies and the possibilities of their entering into the salivary ducts are discussed. The diagnostical and therapeutical problems are outlined. The authors point out that in the case of uncleared, prolonged and recurrent inflammatory diseases of the salivary gland the possibility of foreign bodies is to be considered.
