ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
Szerző dobüregi lokalizációban jelentkező arcideg-neurinoma esetét ismerteti. — Peripheriás arcidegbénulásban szenvedő beteg anamnesisének finomabb értékelése tumor irányába terelheti a gyanút. Értékes differential-diagnosticai jelnek tartja, ha az arcideg bénulásának megjelenése előtt izgalmi tünetek (rán- gás, görcs, fájdalom stb.) is jelentkeztek. Hangsúlyozza a „próba-dekomp- ressio” létjogosultságát. Benignus arcideg-tumor esetén sem tartja elegendőnek csak a tumor eltávolítását, hanem egyidejűleg a szomszédos idegrész ki- metszését, valamint szabad ideg-transplan tatiót kell végezni.
Neurinoma in the tympanic sector of the facial nerve.
SUMMARY
A case of neurinoma of the facial nerve with site in the tympanum is reported. Careful evaluation of the anamnesis of a patient with peripheral facial paralysis may direct the suspicion towards the presence of tumour. In the opinion of the author, the presence of signs of excitement (convulsions, spasms, pains etc), before the development of the facial pares is is a precious differentiating factor. The justification of „decompression by trial” is stressed by the author. In the case of benign tumour of the facial nerve the removal of the tumour is not sufficient, simultaneously the excision of the adjacent nerve portions and free nerve-transplantation are to be carried out.
