A Szerző a centrális dobhártyahiányok conservativ zárásáról Számol be 39 eset kapcsán. A perforatio Széleit triehlorecetsavval edzi és friss tojás-am- nionnal fedi. A kezelést 7—10 naponként ismétli a teljes záródásig. 37 alkalommal a dobhártya defectusa záródott. Ezzel a módszerrel nagy perforatiók zárása is eredményesen megkísérelhető. Szövődményt nem észlelt.
Conservative plastic repair of central defects of the tympanic membrane.
SUMMARY
On the basis of 39 cases the method worked out by the author for the plastic repair of central defects of the ear-drum is described. The margins of the perforation are touched by concentrated trichloracetic acid and covered with egg-amnion. This treatment is repeated every 7—10 days, until complete closure supervenes. No complications have been observed. Even the closure of very extended perforations may be attempted by this method. Satisfactory functional results are reported.
