A szerző férfi rákszűrés gégészeti tapasztalatait ismerteti. Eseteinek száma nem nagy, messzemenő következtetések levonására éppen ezért nem vállalkozik. Mégis felhívja a figyelmet egy lehetséges férfi rákszűrés jelentőségére annál is inkább, mert úgy tudja, hogy hazai viszonylatban munkája első kezdeményezésnek számít, és jó eredménye is feljogosítja erre.
Laryngological experiences in cancer screening tests of males.
SUMMARY
Although cancer screening tests of the female population is organized, there is no male screening in cancer. A survey was made in this respect. An unselected series of 600 male workers were subjected to laryngoscopy. In a 0.33 per cent of them cancer, and in another 0.33 per cent of them precancerous condition was revealed. The importance of topography in the case of laryngeal cancers is emphasized. An important role is also attributed to a strict control of precancerosis. The series of the author is not large enough, thus far-reaching conclusions can not be drawn. Nevertheless, attention is called to the significance of the organisation of male screening tests in cancer.
