ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
46 éves férfibeteg kóresetének ismertetése kapcsán, ahol az első sympto- mák után csak 9 hónappal került az epipharynx-tumor adaequat kezelés alá, igyekeztünk rámutatni azokra a sorozatosan helytelen értékelés alapján végzett vizsgálatokra és „kezelő célzatú” beavatkozásokra, melyek a helyes diagnózis felállítását elodázták.

SUMMARY
Reporting the case history of a male aged 46 years having an epipharyngeal tumour which was given adequate treatment only 9 months after the appearance of the first symptoms, examinations which wei’e performed serially based on incorrect evaluation, interventions with „therapeutical implications” are emphasized which all postponed the establishment of the correct diagnosis. Adequate therapeutical intervention could be performed only after the tumour following its progression infiltrated already the surrounding tissues.
