ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
Külföldi és hazai szerzők egyre többet foglalkoznak a „nem gennyes otogén encephalitis”-szel.
A „nem gennyes encephalitis” elnevezés Oppenheimtől származik. E megbetegedést önálló kórképként először Borries írta el 1921-ben. Számosán, így
O. Foss, Hohlbrugger, Güttich, ifj. Götze, Csillag, szintén önálló megbetegedésnek tartják, nem pedig az agytályog első stádiumának. A kórkép pathogene- zise nem tisztázott, mert a középfülgyulladásnak e ritka koponyaűri szövődménye legtöbbször gyógyulással végződik.
Acute, Non-Purulent Otogenous Encephalitis
SUMMARY
In connection with two cases the author describes the clinical picture of non- purulent encephalitis associated with acute or chronic inflammation of the middle ear. Citing data of other authors he makes a review of the pathogenesis of the disease and deals with the problems of its diagnosis. He calls attention to the importance of the EEG from the point of view of the differential diagnosis of this rare otogenous complication of the disease.
