Csontszövet daganat akciójára nagyjában ugyanazon módon reagál, akár jó-, vagy rosszindulatú a támadó képlet, akár elsődleges vagy másodlagos jellegű, akár puha szövetű vagy maga is csontot produkáló. Weinman és Sicher könyvükben [Bone and Bones, 1947] újból összefoglalták ezeknek a reakcióknak a mechanismusát.
Mutual Reactions Between Tumors and the Petrous Bone.
SUMMARY
In the cases described by the author the tumor cshged its character in reching the border of the petrous bone and penetrated only in this form into the bone. It happened even in such cases that only the pneumatic part got destrueted while the case of the labyrinth resisted and only some compression has been observed. The dual character of the same tumor inside and outside of the temporal bone is a phenomenon which can not be matched by examples concerning the bones of the limbs or the skull and seems to be a characteristic feature of this bone.
