ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
Az orvostudomány minden ágában egyre szélesedő körben alkalmazzák a cortison készítményeket. Az általános cortison kezelés igen kiterjedt, szinte az összes betegségeknél kipróbálták és használják. A helyi kezelés is széleskörű, főleg a szemészetben és a bőrgyógyászatban terjedt el. Szakmánk területén is több betegsénél alkalmazzák pl. a bronchoskoposan spray formájában bevitt cortisont, cortison tartalmú fülcseppeket, fülkenőcsöket, és orrcseppeket. Nálunk Ajlcay, Alföldy, Hajós és Kővári szerepelnek ilyen vonatkozásban az irodalomban.
Local Cortison Treatment in Otho-Rhino- laryngology.
SUMMARY
The authors report on their experience gained concerning local management with cortison of the ear and nose. They used cortison treatment in 55 rhinological cases. They got good results in cases of pansinusitis, temporary, symptomatic results in patients with allergic rhinitis and moderate results in patients with polypus. They had more success in treating eczema of the auditory meatus, where they were successful in 24 cases of acute eczema out of 42 cases. In 18 cases they got moderately good results. Application of cortison preparates combined with antibiotics in cases of inflammations of the auditory meatus proves the efficiency of a home produced drug. They got favourable results with Otosporin in treating chronic mesotympanal otitis and postoperative purulences after radical surgeries.
