ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A plasmasejtes tumorok morphogenesise lényegében épp oly vitatott, mint a plasmasejtek genesise. A plasmasejteket régebben lymphocytákhoz sorolták. Ma a haematológusok nagy része szerint sajátos felépítésüknél fogva a reticulumsejtekhez állnak közelebb. Különböző fejlődési stádiumaik, sajátos önálló reactiójuk, jellegzetes functiójuk és speciális megbetegedéseik alapján egyesek a plasmasejteket önálló sejtrendszernek tekintik, melyet egyenlő hely illet meg a csontvelő többi haemopoeticus rendszerével. A plasmasejtes daganatok gyakrabban medullarisan, ritkábban extramedullarisan helyezkednek el. Alábbiakban két extramedullaris plasmocytoma esetet közlünk.

SUMMARY
Plasmocytoraa of the tonsil in a female aged 75 years and in a male aged 63 years is presented. In the first case in spite of solitary polypoid macromorphological appearance and the absence of tumour invasion and destruction histological examination, neverthless, revealed more atypical and polymorph characteristics, than the multiple tumour of the second case showing local destruction and invasion with enlargement of the regional lymph nodes. Clinical laboratory and radiological alterations indicating medullary plasmocytoma were not detected in either of the cases, not even by serial control examinations. The first patient two and a half year after tonsillectomy did not have local recidives or metastases either. In the second case following tonsillectomy irradiation was performed, three and a half year later no progression of the tumour could be detected. Some characteristics of the medullary and extramedullary (upper respiratory tract, oral cavity, particularly the tonsils) plasmocytomas are paral- lelly discussed.
