ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A második világháborút megelőző évtizedekben hazánkban is igen gyakran fordultak elő marószer mérgezések. Az 1940. évi rendelet korlátozta, az 1953. évi pedig megszüntette a lúgkő szabad forgalmát, de nem hozták meg a kellő eredményeket.
Sajnos, marószermérgezések még napjainkban is gyakoriak, gyermekeken véletlen baleset következtében, felnőtteken balesetből kifolyólag és öngyilkossági szándékból egyaránt.
Experiences with the modern combined (antibiotic- corticosteroid-antihistamin) treatment of acute corrosion of the esophagus.
SUMMARY
35 case of acute corrosion of the esophagus and the results of the treatment are described. In the opinion of the authors, modern treatment of the acute phase consist in the simultaneous administration of antibiotics, corticosteroid and antihistamin. In the authors’ material, good results have been obtained with this treatment. Nevertheless, it is pointed out that although the most dangerous symptoms of the acute phase are beneficially influenced by this treatment, scarred stenosis is not impeded in this way.
