A hepatitis epidemica alkalmával fellépő gastro-intestinális, myalgias, arthralgias panaszokon kívül, gyakran fordulnak elő idegrendszeri panaszok és tünetek is.
Anomalous Vestibular Reactions characteristic for Epidemic Hepatitis.
SUMMARY
carried out, with a special regard to the anomalies of vestibular reactions. These examinations were completed by thosen of the CSF. Spontaneous nystagmus occurred in 82 p. c. The vestibular reactions were found to be characteristic : increased rotation reaction, abbreviated latency of the caloric response, prolongation of the caloric response, indistinct difference between the slow and quick phase, further frequency changes. Authors found correlations between the increased vestibular reaction, increased CSF pressure (94 p. c.), and capillary haemorrhages on the oral and phamygeal mucosa. The 82 p. c. incidence of spontaneous nystagmus is an explanation of the vertigo complained of in the history. Nausea occurring in 86 p. c. may be related to the increased rotation and caloric reactions.
