ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS
Az osteochondroma a fej-nyaki régióban ritkán előforduló benignus daganat, amelyre a nyaki terimék differenciáldiagnosztikája kapcsán általában nem gondolunk. A cikk tárgyalja az osteochondromák klinikumát, ismerteti a submandibularis régióban gyakrabban előforduló terimék etiológiáját, valamint bemutatja a szerzők osztályukon szerzett tapasztalatát a különböző submandibularis entitások megoszlását illetően. Végül az esetismertetés során a szerzők egy nyelvcsont osteo- chondromát mutatnak be, ismertetve a beteg tüneteit, a kivizsgálás lépéseit és a műtéti megoldást.

SUMMARY
The osteochondroma is a rare benign tumor in the head and neck region, so it is often neglected in the differential diagnosis of the neck lumps. In their work authors discuss the clinical aspects of the osteochondroma, expose the etiology of the common lumps in the submandibular region, and demonstrate their experience in connection with the distribution of the submandibular entities in their ward. Finally a case of osteochondroma occuring in the hyoid bone is presented, including the symptoms of the patient, the process of the checkup, and the surgical threatment.
