ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A szerzők 85 Provox hangprotézis alkalmazásával nyert tapasztalatokat összegzik, 33 punkció és implantáció, valamint 52 csere alapján. Az implantációk 88%-át tartják sikeresnek. Az átlagos viselési idő 9 hónap volt. A protézis körüli vagy azon keresztüli folyadék áteresztés indikálta a cserék 61%-át. Megnőtt légellenállás 29%-ban tette szükségessé új implantátum behelyezését. A beavatkozások során felmerülő nehézségek megfelelő előkészítés és technika mellett uralhatok voltak.
SUMMARY
The aim of this study was to summarise the experiences gained by application of 85 Provox voice prostheses at the University ENT Department, Pécs, Hungary. Between May 1996 and May 2002, 33 puncture and implantation operations were carried out and 52 previously implanted prostheses were reimplanted in patients who had undergone total laryngectomy. 88% of the implantations were considered successful by the authors. The average durability of the prostheses was 9 months. In 61 % of the patients the reason for changing the prosthesis was because of leaking either around or through the prosthesis. 29 % of the reimplantations needed to be performed due to increased air resistance. All the difficulties arising during the surgical procedures were manageable by using proper preparation and correct technique.
