A szerzők ism ertetik az A rnold-Chiari m alform atio lényegét, típusait, és összefoglalják az irodalom ban leírt tüneteket, cochleovestibularis eltéréseket. A rendellenesség lényege: a kisagyi tonsillák túlérnek a foram en m agnum on, és a craniocervicalis á tm enetben liquorkeringési zavart, agytörzsi compressiós tü n etek et okozhatnak. A tü netek között köhögésre provokálódó fejfájás, szédülés, agyidegtünetek fordulhatnak elő. A szerzők két betegük k o rtö rtén etét részletesen ism ertetik, és k itérn ek a kórisme felállításakor elkerülendő diagnosztikus csapdákra is. Az egyik beteg esetében kétoldali, progrediáló cochleovestibularis károsodást kórism éztek, m ásik beteg esetében verticalis, felfelé csapó nystagm ust észleltek. Répássy: About cochleovestibular symptoms of the Arnold-Chiari malformation The authors review the essence, types of the Arnold-Chiari malformation and summarize the symptoms, cochleovestibular mutations published in literature. Essence of this abnormity is, that the cerebellar tonsils transcend over the foramen magnum and can cause liquor circulatory troubles in the craniocervical transition and so compression symptoms in the brainstem. Among symptoms may occur headache which provokes cough, dizziness and cranial nerve symptoms too. The authors review the case-history of their two patients in detail and mention diagnostical traps too, which are to avoid during setting up the diagnosis. In one patient, they found b ilateral progressive cochleovestibular damage, till in the second patient, they observed vertical nystagmus, which was beating upwards. The authors intend their publication for to draw the attention to this disease.
