A radiológus feladata, hogy pontosan megállapítsa a cochlea egészének az állapotát, a basalis kanyarulat átjárhatóságát, a kerekablak státuszát, a középfül állapotát, a mastoid pneumatizációt és a koponyaboltozat vastagságát a stimulátor tervezett helyén. A high-resolution CT a legalkalmasabb módszer mindezek ábrázolására. Esetismertetések demonstrálják a röntgenvizsgálatok fontosságát az implantációra alkalmas betegek kiválasztásában.
The role of radiological examinations in salcting suitable patients for cochlear implantation.
SUMMARY
With cochlear implantation deaf patients can be rehabilitated. Selection of suitable patients for intervention is a teamwork and requires collaboration of more specialists. The task of radiologist is to determine exactly the whole condition of cochlea, the possibility of passing through of basal curve, the condition of round window and, middle ear, the pneumatization of mastoid bone and the thickness of skullvaulting on the spot of stimulator.
The high-resolution CT is the most suitable approach to describe all these.
Case presentations demonstrate the importance of x-ray examinations in selecting of suitable patients for cochlear implantation.
