Application of artificial skin in plastical operations of the face.
SUMMARY
The syntetic skin has been applied by the autors first of all to cover like bandage of open wounds in soft tissues. They render account of their experience gained with the lasting appliancce of this method, in their article. According to their results observed till now, the autors are of opinion, that this method is suitable especially for lasting covering of the ,,bridge-parts” of pedicle-flaps, or in special cases, instead of free skin-transplantion, for the closure of defects till completion of spontaneous epitheliza tion.
