Malignant lymphomas in the pharynx. (The importance of teamwork in diagnosis as treatment of lymphomas.).
SUMMARY
The authors analyse the datas of their 27 patients suffering from lymphomas, of which 1 has been HL and, 26 NHL. Of the 26 NHL patients they found in 9 (38%) a malignancy of low kind, in 17 (62%) there has been observed a high malignancy, till in all 355 patients with NHL, was this ratio 70%:30%. On the basis of histological results, 16 (62%) of 26 has been a lymphoma of follicle origin, in contrast with all of the NHL group, where this was observed in 47% only.
The authors draw conclusion of this, that in cases of lymphomas, setting out from the pharynx, there is the follicle genesis and high malignancy much more frequent, than in lymphomas in general.
Finally, they write about an own case of low malignancy.
