A szerzők 48 fixációs nystagmusos gyermek kalorikus és forgatásos ingerlését végezték el. A forgatásos vizsgálat során mind a per-, mind a postrotatoros fázist regisztrálták. Comparison of caloric and rotatory stimulation in children with fixation nystagmus.
SUMMARY
Tiie authors performed caloric and rotatory stimulation in 48 children with fixation nystagmus. Both the per- and postrotatory phase were registered in the course in the rotatory examination. The reaction was considered positive on the basis of the qualitative and quantitative change of the spontaneous nystagmus. On the average the labyrinth function could be proved in 40% of the reactions. The quickly performable frequency analysis and the observation of the change of the wave-form are suitable for the demonstration of the vestibular function.
