ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A szerzők a fül-orr-gégészek számára dolgoztak ki egyszerű módszert az arteria temporalis superficialison retrograd bevezetett katéter helyének meghatározására. A carotis internahoz tartozó arteria ethmoida- lesek által ellátott orrnyálkahártya rhinoscopia anteriorral megfigyelhető. Amennyiben a katéteren át bejuttatott festék ezt a területet is megfesti — a katéter vége az arteria carotis communisban van. A katéter helyzetének változtatásával és ismételt festék adásával a katéternyílás a kívánt helyre juttatható.
New clinical observations on the determination of the site of the catheter opening in the intraarterial chemotherapy of head-neck tumors.
SUMMARY
The authors elaborated for the oto-rhino-laryngologists a simple method for the determination of the site of a cather introduced retrograde in the superficial temporal artery. The nasal mucosa which is supplied be ethmoidal arteries belongign to the carotis interna may be observed by anterior rhinoscopy. The end of the cather is in the arteria carotis communis if the stain introduced through the catheter stains this area too. The opening of the catheter may be inserted in the appropriate place by ehaning its site and by introducing fepeatedly stain.
