a gépi beszéd paraméterei tetszőlegesen alakíthatók,
A továbbiakban beszámolnak a klinikai alkalmazást megelőző kísérleti eredményeikről:
Use of synthetised words in speech-audiometry.
SUMMARY
I. Fundamentals and method.
After a short survey of the story of speech-synthesis the authors deal with the difference between human- and machine speech as:
a. a human being is able to change his speech consciously, only with limitation, - till mechanical-speech’s parameters are pliable at will;
b. human speech is much more redundant than the artificial one;
c. fluctuation of intensity of natural speech is significantly higher, than that of machine-speech. These had given the basis for application of artificial speech in speech-audiometry. The authors give account of experimental effects previously achived to clinical applyment.
1. The voice-quality of machine-speech complies with the requirements for audiological appliance.
2. With synthetised sound-scales there can be filtered such hearing impairments too, upon which light was never thrown before, using natural sound-scales.
