ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A stapedius reflex macskákon végzett kísérletes tanulmányozásáról számolnak be a szerzők.
A reflexet szabadon mozgó, éber macskán, a cochlearis magok direkt elektromos ingerlésével váltják ki és a musculus stapediusba helyezett krónikus, elvezető elektródával a kiváltott izompotenciálokat regisztrálják. Az elektromos ingerléssel nyert reflexválasz amplitúdója és látenciája stabil. A módszer alkalmasnak látszik arra, hogy vele a reflexiv más struktúráiba történő beavatkozás hatását a további kísérletek során elemezhessék.

Examination of the stapedius reflex in animal experiments.
Examination of the stapedius reflex in cat experiments is reported.
The reflex has been elicited in freely moving, alert cats, by direct, electric stimulation of the cochlear nuclei and the elicited muscle potentials are recorded by means of chronic efferent electrode put in the stapedius muscle. The amplitude and the frequency of the reflex responses obtained with electric stimulation are stable. The method seems to be suitable for the analysis of the effect of interventions performed into other structures of the reflex arc by means of further examinations.
