A szerzó'k a fiberskópia bevezetéséről számolnak be a fej-nyak daganatok diagnosztikájában. Hangsúlyozzák a vizsgáló módszer kitűnő' diagnosztikus tulajdonságait, az orr-, garat-, és gégenyálkahártya praeblastomák és daganatos infiltrációk esetében. Kiemelik a vizsgálat fontosságát parciális gégeműtétek végzése előtt. Előnyösnek ítélik meg, hogy a vizsgálat során lehetőség nyílik fénykép és film fotódokumentáció végzésére.

Institution of naso-pharyngeal-chordofiberscopy in the diagnosis of the cephalic-cervical tumours.
The institution of fiberscopy in the diagnosis of tumours of the head and the neck is discussed by the authors. The excellent diagnostic properties of this examination method in case of preblastoma and tumourous infiltration of the nasal pharyngeal and laryngeal mucous membrane are emphasized by the authors. The importance of the examination before the performance of partial laryngeal operations is pointed out. During the examination an opportunity is given to take photographs and to make film documentation.
