ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
Továbbképzés céljából írt közleményben a szerző összefoglalja a műtét indi- catiójának és contraindicatióinak problémáit, melyek kialakításában az alábbi szempontokat vette figyelembe: a tonsillák élettanára vonatkozó ismereteket, a chronicus tonsillitis klinikai tüneteit, a gócszerep kimutatásának lehetőségeit és a tonsillectomia várható következményeit.
Theoretical and practical problems of the indication of tonsillectomy
SUMMARY
In the paper aiming at eontinuative instruction the problems of indication and contraindication of the tonsillectomy are resumed by the author. The following considerations have been observed: our knowledge regarding the physiology of the tonsils, the clinical symptoms of the chronic tonsillitis, the possibilities of the demonstration of the role of the focus, and the possible consequences of the tonsillectomy.
