szerzők 64 essentialis hypertoniás beteg tisztahang audiometriás vizsgálatát végezték el. A hallásküszöböt a presbyacusis értékéhez viszonyítva minden esetben emelkedettnek találták. Bár a hypertonia és a hypacusis közötti kauzális összefüggés matematikai-statisztikai módszerrel végzett analízis alapján bizonyítottnak tűnik, a hypertonia egyes faktorainak (systolés ten- zióemelkedés, diastoles tenzióemelkedés, angiosclerosis, se-cholesterin szint változás) a szerepét a nagyothallás kialakulásában nem sikerült tisztázni.

SUMMARY
Pure tone audiometric examinations have been performed by the authors in 64 patients with essential hypertonia. The auditory threshold — compared with the value of presbyacousis — was found increased in all cases. Although the causal relationship between the hypertonia and the hypacusis seems to be proved on the basis of analysis performed with mathematical-statistical method, the role of some factors of the hypertonia (the rise of the systolic tension, the increase of the diastolic tension, angiosclerosis, the change of the Se-cholesterin value) in the development of the hardness of hearing were not to be cleared as yet.
