3340 városi és 1737 vidéki általános iskolás gyermek audiometriás szűrésének tapasztalatairól számolnak be. A vidéki gyermekek között a halláskárosodás relatív gyakorisága nagyobb volt, mint a városiak között. Részletesen ismertetik a kapott eredményeket a halláskárosodás okának és typusának függvényében, városi és falusi megoszlásban. Elemzik azokat az okokat, amelyek a falusi gyermekek nagyobb számú halláskárosodását okozhatják.
Comparative audiometric screening examinations in urban and rural general schools
SUMMARY
The experiences gained with the audiometric screening examinations of 3340 urban — and 1737 rural schoolboys and schoolgirls are reported.
The relative frequency of impaired hearing was greater among the children living in the country than in those in the towns. On the basis of their examinations, the causes and types of impaired hearing are discussed by the authors, as well for the urban as the rural population. The possible causes of the greater frequency of impaired hearing in the children living in the country are analysed. S.
