A szerző mononucleosis infectiosa súlyos eseteiben tonsillectomiát és adenoto- miát ajánl. A műtéttel a vírusok behatolási kapuja, valamint a tonsillák lepedőkében és állományában levő kórokozókat, eltávolítjuk. Az eljárás előnyét 15, igen eredményesen operált beteg kóresetével igazolja.

SUMMARY
In severe cases of infectious mononucleosis tonsillectomy and adenotomy are recommended by the author. By the surgical intervention the port of entry, as well as the pathogenic agents in the incrustation and the substance of the tonsils are removed. The very satisfactory results of the method are proved by the case reports of 1 5 patients operated upon.
