ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A fül-orr-gégészeti műtétek beteganyagán vizsgáltuk a psychologiai előkészítés hatását. Mind a vizsgálatban alkalmazott mérési eredmények, mind a műtét rajzos feldolgozása bizonyítja az eljárás hatékonyságát. Tapasztalataink szerint a psychés előkészítés az orvos munkáját is megkönnyíti. A gyerekek a műtét előtt könnyebben kezelhetők, és a műtét utáni gyógyulási szakasz problémamentesebb. További haszonnal jár az is, hogy segíti a harmonikus orvos—beteg kapcsolat kialakulását. Lényeges ez, hiszen a betegek fül-orr-gégészeti műtétek után gyakran szorulnak utókezelésre. A műtét kapcsán psychesen előkészített betegek szívesen keresik fel klinikánkat, és nem tanúsítanak ellenállást a további kezelések során.t
The role of the psychological preparation in oto-rhino-laryngological operations of children
SUMMARY
The psychological preparation applied by the authors before oto-rhino-laryngological operations in children is described.
With this method, the psychologist uses the Child’s phantasy elements, in order to inform the little patient on all moments of the operation, observable by himself.
With the participation of a control group, the efficacy of the method was determined on the basis of the following parameters: the mean time of falling asleep, the appearance or the absence of excitation, and the representation in drawings by the child of the operative sensations. The first two — measureable — data yielded significant results and also the analysis of the draw ings has supported the value and the efficacy of the method. No similar report has been found by the authors in the foreign literature.
