ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A ehronikus középfülgyulladásnak és következményes állapotainak kórképe rendkívül változatos és a műtéti beavatkozások is sokfélék lehetnek, ezért a tympanoplasticai műtétek functionalis eredményeinek kritikai értékelése komoly nehézségekkel jár.
Evaluation of the functional results of tympanoplastic operations.
SUMMARY
The results of the tympanoplastic operations are evaluated corresponding to the points of view of the American standard. It is proved even statistically that the hearing results expressed in decibel are not reliable, moreover, misconclusions are possible in this way; the real functional result of the intervention is demonstrated only on the basis of the hearing valuable in social respect. Besides the data of the improvement and the impairment of hearing expressed in decibel also the data of the hearing valuable in social respect are indicated by the authors, giving in this way statistical data coming nearer to the real situation.
