ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A dolgozat két kérdésre próbál választ adni:
1. Szükség van-e gyógypedagógusra az audiologiai gondozóban?
2. Ha igen, milyen feladatot kell ellátnia a gyógypedagógusnak a gondozóban ?
A kérdésre válaszolva röviden ismerteti a gondozó tevékenységét. Leírja, hogy milyen felkészültséggel bírjon a gyógypedagógus. Vázolja a paedoaudio- logiai munkához szükséges ismereteket. Felsorolja a paedoaudiologus feladatait. Ismerteti a hallásfogyatékosokkal történő foglalkozást életkoruknak megfelelően és nagyothallásuk súlyossága szerint. így ír 1 éves kor alatti, 1—6 éves, 6—14 éves, ifjú és felnőtt hallásfogyatékosokkal végzett paedoaudio- logiai tennivalókról.
A paedoaudiologiai munkát legfontosabbnak tartja csecsemőkortól és 6 éves korig, különös tekintettel a beszédfejlődés megindulásának praedilectiós idejére.
Végül említést tesz a gyógypedagógusi státusz mielőbbi létrehozásának szükségességéről a gondozókban.
The role of the specialists for children with impaired hearing in the audiologic welfare centers.
SUMMARY
Two problems are examined in this paper: 1. The necessity of specialists for the care of children with impaired hearing in the audiologic centers, and 2. their duties.
The function and the activity of the specialized workers in the audiologic centers are outlined, with special respect to the required qualification and experience. The particular tasks of the paido-audiology are described. The patients with impaired hearing are to be treated corresponding to their age and the degree of the impairment of hearing. Thus, the audiologic management of the patients under 1 year, between 1—6 and 6—14 years, of the adolescent and the adult patients with impaired hearing is dealt with in detail.
In the opinion of the author, the audiologic care is of the greatest importance from the infancy to the age of 6 years, this being the predilection period of the speech development. Finally, the classification in staffs of the specialists for the care of children with impaired hearing is emphasized by the author.
