ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
Szerző történelmi áttekintés után tárgyalja az otogen arachnitis cystica aetio- logiáját, pathologiáját, tünettanát és therapiáját. Táblázatban tíz otogén arachnitises betegük adatait hasonlítja össze. Az antibiotikus korszakban kezelt betegek — különösen ha az arachnitis tüneteinek kifejlődését az adaequat therapiáig nem követte hosszabb megfigyelési idő — zavartalanabbal gyógyultak.Két beteg kortörténetét részletesen ismerteti, az antibiotikus korszak előtti és a jelenlegi kórlefolyás bemutatására. Fülsebészi behatolásból a cysta punkcióját tartja a választandó eljárásnak, illetve helyes therapiának. Véleményét a tíz arachnitises beteg gyógyeredménye is alátámasztja.
Otogenous cystic arachnoiditis.
SUMMARY
After a short historical review the etiology, the pathology, the symptomatology and the therapy of the otogenous cystic arachnoiditis are discussed. In a table the data of ten patients suffering from otogenous arachnoiditis are compared. The recovery of the patients treated in the antibiotic era — especially if the appearance of the symptoms of the arachnoiditis was followed by adequate therapy in a short time — was rather undisturbed. The case histories oft wo patients are reported in detail, in order to demonstrate the course of the disease before the antibiotic era and the disease-process at the present time. In the opinion of the author, the puncture of the cyst is the method of choice for the adequate treatment, from otological approach. This opinion has been confirmed also on the basis of the therapeutical results obtained in ten patients with arachnoiditis.
