ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
Szerzők a purulens sinusitis frontálishoz társuló subduralis empyemák irodalmát áttekintve 2 saját esetüket ismertetik. Jellegzetesnek tartják a klinikai képet, rámutatnak a fertőzés tovaterjedésének lehetőségeire. Tapasztalatuk alapján a sinusitis frontálishoz társuló subduralis empyema megfelelő diagnosztikus, therapiás beavatkozással, fülész—idegsebész jó együttműködésével sikeresen megoldható.
Subdural empyema, observed in association to frontal sinusitis.
SUMMARY
After the review of the literature 2 cases of subdural empyema, observed in asso cia- tion to purulent frontal sinusitis are reported. The characteristic clinical pieture is pointed out and the possibilities of the extension of the infection are outlined. The authors have found that on the basis of right diagnosis and with the aid of adequate therapy successful treatment of the frontal sinusitis — concomitant with subdural empyema — is possible, especially if collaboration of the otologist and the neurologist is assured.
